What do you get when you have Reese Witherspoon being pursued on online dating websites by Chris Pine and Tom Hardy playing undercover spies? Well, you get ‘This Means War‘.

MTV’s Movie Night had the opportunity to sit down with the stars of the film and find out why both men and women will love this romantic/action comedy.

“This movie is every girl’s fantasy!” says Reese Witherspoon, “To have two unbelievably sexy, hot guys interested in you!”

The film’s synopsis is simple: When two friends (and undercover spies) discover they are dating the same woman online, an epic battle of loves proportions ensues.

“[We've] got all kinds of crazy sequences [in the film]. They’ve got car chases and shoot-outs, people jumping off of buildings! It’s really fun.”

TV-host Chelsea Handler has a supporting role in the film as Reese’s fast-talking friend trying to help her decide between her two leading men.

“[Reese and I] have some fun scenes together, then when she has scenes with the guys it’s more high-tech, spy-game type of stuff!”

Tom Hardy says his character has more depth then just your typical adventure-spy: “You take a lad who desperately wants to change his life, and be normal, so he goes online to find someone so that he can present himself as somebody that he is not.”

Director McG (he’s responsible for the ‘Charlies Angels’ series) says that this film examines what goes on behind being Mr. James Bond.

“I think the story of ‘This means War’ is really the domestic difficulties of being James Bond. And what happens when a woman with the prowess and strength of Reese Witherspoon comes into your life!”
